Major Asian stock markets closed mixed today. Japan’s Nikkei 225 index surged over 1.8 per cent. Singapore’s Straits Times Index added almost 0.4 per cent. On the other hand, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index dipped 1.6 per cent. Meanwhile, markets in China and South Korea remained closed. Major European indices were trading mixed today. Germany’s DAX was trading almost 1.3 per cent higher, and London’s FTSE 100 increased half a per cent. While France’s CAC 40 decreased by over 0.3 percent, the reports last came in.
