In the Asia T20 Cup cricket, Afghanistan will take on Sri Lanka in a crucial Group B match in Abu Dhabi, UAE, today. The match will begin at 8 PM Indian Time. Afghanistan absolutely have to win to make it to the Super Four. 

Yesterday, Pakistan defeated hosts United Arab Emirates by 41 runs in their Group A match. Put into bat first, Pakistan posted 146 for 9 in their 20 overs, with the help of Fakhar Zaman’s fifty. For the UAE, Junaid Siddique picked up four wickets.

Chasing 147, the hosts were bowled out for 105 in 17.4 overs. Pakistan’s bowlers Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Abrar Ahmed took two wickets each. The match began after a one-hour rain delay. With this win, Pakistan advances to the Super Four stage alongside India, while the UAE exit the tournament.
