In Goa, veteran politician and former Union Minister Shri Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju today sworn in as the new Governor of Goa in a ceremonial event held at Raj Bhavan, Panaji. Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court, Justice Alok Aradhe, administered the oath of office.

        Former Union Minister and senior Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader formally took charge as the Governor of Goa succeeding P S Sreedharan Pillai, who completed his term earlier this month. The swearing-in ceremony took place in the grand Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan and was attended by top state officials and dignitaries.
