Arunachal Pradesh Government has announced a four percent increase in DA and DR for the state government employees and pensioners. With this, the DA/DR in the state will rise to 50 percent now. The decision will affect 68,818 serving employees and 33200 pensioners of the state.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu in a social media post termed the decision as a pre-Holi gift for the employees. He also added that the double-engine sarkar of the centre and state under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to the welfare of all citizens, including those dedicated to delivering government services.
