Today, the state is administratively divided into 27 districts, each contributing to its unique cultural and traditional fabric.

Known for its rich cultural heritage, Arunachal Pradesh is home to over 100 tribes and sub-tribes, each with a distinct identity, making it one of the most diverse states in India.

In a social media post, the President said, both states have rich cultural heritage and expressed hope that people will preserve their extraordinary natural heritage and cultural traditions.
