Chief of the Army Staff, General Upendra Dwivedi, today attended the Tri-Service Academia Tech Symposium (T-SATS) in New Delhi and interacted with delegates from academia, Research and Development Institutes, industry bodies and key stakeholders. In a social media post, the Indian Army said that the Army Chief’s discussions focused on synergising capabilities to build a robust defence technology ecosystem, fostering innovation for enhancing operational preparedness. General Dwivedi also witnessed exhibitions showcasing cutting-edge innovations and insights from Forward Area Tours, highlighting the collaborative efforts of industry and academia. Indian Army added that the symposium reflected India’s strides towards self-reliance and Atmanirbharta in Defence technology.
