In Archery World Cup Stage 2, India won three medals in Shanghai today. The men’s compound team of Abhishek Verma, Ojas Deotale, and Rishabh Yadav won gold, defeating the Mexico team 232-228 in the final. They had earlier beaten Denmark in the semifinal and Great Britain in the quarterfinal.
In the women’s compound event, Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Madhura Dhamangaonkar, and Chikitha Taniparthi took silver as they lost to Mexico team in the final. India had beaten Kazakhstan and Great Britain to reach the final.
India also won bronze in the mixed team event. Verma and Dhamangaonkar teamed up to defeat Malaysia in the third-place match.
