APCRDA Updates CM Chandrababu Naidu on Amaravati Development Progress

A meeting of Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (AP CRDA) was held last night at the CM camp office in Amaravati under the chairmanship of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. During the meeting, officials briefed the Chief Minister on the progress of works in the Amaravati capital region. Discussions focused on previously allotted lands, the status of construction and activities taken up by institutions that were granted land and measures to enhance greenery in the capital area. Speaking to the media after the meeting, Municipal Administration Minister P. Narayana said that the Authority approved land allotments for banks and for the Bharatiya Janata Party office.

He stated that the APCRDA also cleared the recommendations made by the Cabinet Sub-Committee. The Authority granted approval for Minimum Viable Project works related to the High Court and the Assembly. It also approved the transfer of certain works to APGICL. Minister Narayana further said that discussions were held on the development of roads, drains and implementation of green and blue design concepts in Amaravati. He added that officials of the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board were advised to study parks in other countries to adopt best practices for the capital city’s development.
