Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu today announced a cash reward of 2.5 crore rupees, a one thousand square-yard residential plot and a government job for Telugu cricketer Sree Charani, a member of the Indian women’s cricket team that recently won the World Cup.
Sree Charani met the Chief Minister and Minister Nara Lokesh at the Chief Minister’s camp office in Amaravati today. Congratulating her on the achievement, Mr. Naidu said that the team’s victory showcased the strength and talent of Indian women on the global stage. During the meeting, Sree Charani and former Indian women’s cricket team captain Mithali Raj presented a T-shirt signed by the team members to the Chief Minister.
