The Andhra Pradesh government said there is no need for people to worry about cooking gas availability and assured that steps are being taken to prevent shortages in the state.
State Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav, Agriculture Minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu and Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar today reviewed the LPG supply situation with officials and representatives of oil companies at the Civil Supplies State Office in Kanuru near Vijayawada. Minister Manohar participated virtually.
Officials from civil supplies, information and public relations, police and vigilance departments, along with representatives of Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum, attended the meeting. Speaking to the media later, Finance Minister Keshav said the government is closely monitoring the situation through a Group of Ministers and special teams.
