Andhra Pradesh bans display of political symbols in schools

In Andhra Pradesh, the government has prohibited the display of political symbols or materials in the school premises. Director of School Education Vijay Rama Raju, in an order, said, the display of any political symbols or materials, including flags, shawls, banners or posters related to political parties or organisations, is strictly prohibited within school premises. Further, the official directed that no individual or group, other than parents or members of the School Management Committee, shall be permitted entry into the school premises under any circumstances.
