In Andhra Pradesh, three children died due to drowning in the Alluri Sitarama Raju district today. According to reports, five children from Panneda village went to swim in a water body near Sitagunta village when they ran into difficulty shortly after entering the water.

One child managed to escape and alert others, following which local fishermen rushed to the spot and rescued one child. However, three children could not be saved. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
