Anarghya Abhishek Panchawatkar of Gurugram has clinched the gold medal at the 11th Budokan International Karate Championship held in Dubai. Representing India under the banner of the Sports Shitokai Karate Federation, Anarghya delivered a stellar performance in the kumite category, securing the top podium position.

The tournament saw participation from over 900 athletes representing 17 countries, competing across various age groups. Anarghya’s success did not stop at kumite, as he also earned a bronze medal in kata, underscoring his well-rounded expertise and command over both forms of karate.
