In Punjab, the death toll in the Amritsar hooch tragedy has reached 27. Meanwhile, the Delhi-based factory owners, a father and son, who sold methanol online from their factory, have also been arrested by the Amritsar Police. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Maninder Singh said the duo was produced in the local court, which has remanded them to five days of police custody. Investigations are ongoing.
