Union Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah will inaugurate the Co-op Kumbh 2025 – an International Conference on Urban Cooperative Credit Sector in New Delhi on the 10th of this month. Addressing a press briefing today in the national capital, President of National Federation of Urban Co-operative Banks and Credit Societies, Laxmi Dass said that the two-day conference is being organised jointly with Ministry of Corporation with the theme, Digitalising Dreams- Empowering Communities. He said the conference aims to empower communities and strengthen the cooperative foundation of financial inclusion in the country through dialogue, innovation and shared vision. 

 

 

Mr Dass further said that the conference will include discussions on digital innovation, governance reform, and empowerment of women and youth leadership within the cooperative movement.  The conference will seek participation from policymakers, cooperative leaders and international experts from the World Council of Credit Unions and GreenStone Farm Credit Services. The event also celebrates the International Year of Cooperatives 2025.
