Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that the country is safe because of the sacrifice and dedication of the armed forces. Mr. Shah was addressing a program related to security forces at the Brahma Kumari’s headquarters in Abu Road of Sirohi district today.

The Home Minister said that the security forces dedicate their lives to the security of the country’s borders in snowy valleys and hot deserts. He said that apart from the army and paramilitary forces, the police of all the states also make an important contribution to maintaining internal security.

The Home Minister said that India first gave the message of the spirit of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ to the world. He said that India has an old tradition of moving knowledge on the path of progress by unifying the mind, body, intellect and soul through yoga and spirituality. Our country is striving to spread this tradition all over the world. Mr Shah said that Prime Minister Modi, by calling for celebrating International Yoga Day on 21st June, has delivered our Vedic tradition and heritage of yoga to the entire world. Today, crores of people of the world are improving their lives by joining yoga, meditation and spirituality.

His faith will pave the way for world peace in the coming days. Praising the work of Brahmakumari Sansthan, the Home Minister said that the Sansthan has worked to create a wonderful environment of simplicity, restraint and cooperation in the world through sacrifice, penance and brilliance. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and State BJP President Madan Rathore also attended the programme.
