Amarnath Yatra 2025: Devotee Count Crosses 3 Lakh Mark in Just 17 Days

The annual 38-day Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra that commenced on the 3rd of this month, is going on peacefully and seamlessly, from twin routes of Nunwan Pahalgam Base Camp in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district and Baltal Base Camp in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district. The Yatra will conclude on 9th  August on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

       

During the first 17 days of the 38-day Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, the number of Yatris has surpassed the three-lakh mark, who had darshan of Shiv Lingam at the Holy Cave, till this evening. 

       

Yatris from across the country are satisfied with all kinds of arrangements & facilities besides multi-tier security arrangements along twin routes of Baltal and Pahalgam towards Holy Cave.  

       

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has described surpassing of three lakh mark as a deeply enriching experience for all those devotees who are embarking on a sacred journey and prayed for peace and solace for all.

       

Meanwhile, the 18th batch of 4388 Yatris in 179 vehicles, who left Bhagwati Nagar Jammu Base Camp early this morning have reached their respective Base Camps in Kashmir region.

       

The Yatri convoys move under multi-tier security cover all along Srinagar-Jammu National Highway till they reach safely to their respective Base Camps in the Kashmir region.
