All India Institute of Ayurveda Concludes CME Programmes Under Ayurgyan Scheme

All India Institute of Ayurveda successfully organized Continuing Medical Education (CME) programmes for Ayurveda teachers under the Ayurgyan Scheme in New Delhi. The six-day event, which concluded yesterday, emphasized blending classical Ayurvedic understanding with contemporary analytical approaches.
 
 
In a statement, the Ministry of AYUSH said that the programme highlighted the importance of aligning Ayurvedic drug development practices with modern scientific and regulatory frameworks. During these programmes, experts discussed drug standardization, safety and efficacy evaluation, regulatory frameworks, Ayurvedic cosmetics, molecular simulation, and functional characterization of formulations.
 
 
The CME programmes aimed to strengthen capacity building, academic enrichment, and the professional development of Ayurveda teachers across the country. The programmes were conducted in collaboration with the Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth.
