In Ladakh, the 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm across all centres of Akashvani Kargil. At Akashvani Baroo, the National Flag was unfurled by Er. Jamuna Prasad, Assistant Engineer, in the presence of officials, their family members, children, and inmates of Bal Ashram.
Despite the bone-chilling cold temperatures, employees at all centres celebrated the Republic Day with patriotic spirit. A special radio report on the Republic Day celebrations will be aired from Akashvani Kargil at 9:30 PM. Coverage will be broadcast in the Purgi news bulletins at 5:25 PM and 7:30 PM, and detailed coverage will be presented in the news reel programme Kargil Namah at 9:30 PM on Friday.
