Swachhata Pledge was organised today at the premises of Akashvani, New Delhi, as part of the ongoing Seva Pakhwada. Director General of Akashvani, Rajeev Kumar Jain, administered the Swachhata Pledge to the officers and staff of Akashvani. He appealed to them to devote 100 hours per year to voluntary work for cleanliness.

 

 

In the pledge, it was emphasised to neither litter nor let others litter, while encouraging other persons to take this pledge to ensure cleanliness. The Seva Pakhwada, which began yesterday on the occasion of the Birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will continue till 2nd October, Gandhi Jayanti.
