Director General of Akashvani, Dr. Pragya Paliwal Gaur, today visited the camp office of Akashvani located at Sector 4 of Mahakumbh Nagar, Prayagraj. During her visit, she interacted with officials and staff of Akashvani and reviewed the arrangements made for the extensive coverage of the ongoing Mahakumbh 2025. Akashvani had launched Kumbhvani on the 10th of last month. The program can be heard on the 103.5 MHz frequency, the NewsonAir app, and Waves OTT.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pragya Paliwal said that the Kumbhvani channel has become a medium to provide news and various activities related to the Mahakumbh Mela. She said the response to Kumbhvani has been overwhelming. The Director General added that the Kumbhvani channel is also broadcasting several programs based on every activity related to the Maha Kumbh. She mentioned that during the Amrit Snan, special commentary was also broadcast from Kumbhvani.
