Kenya’s Kemboi Kevin Kiprono won the men’s 21-km race, while Renu Singh topped the women’s event at the second Aizawl International Half Marathon 2026, which concluded today with nearly 3,000 runners. Mizoram Governor V. K. Singh flagged off the race at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Aizawl.
The event featured 16 elite international athletes and participants from Kenya, Ethiopia, Bahrain, the United Kingdom and France, alongside runners from across India. Chief Minister Lalduhoma and Sports and Tourism Minister Lalnghinglova Hmar attended the event. Officials said participation nearly doubled from last year, underscoring Mizoram’s growing stature as a host of major sporting events.
