In shooting, Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar clinched the silver medal in the men’s 50m rifle 3-positions at the ISSF World Cup Final in Doha, Qatar, today. He shot 413.3, finishing just 0.9 points behind Czechia’s Jiri Privratsky, who won the gold with a score of 414.2 in the final held under the new ISSF 40-shot format. Olympic champion Liu Yukun of China claimed the bronze.
Earlier, Aishwarya scored 595 in qualification to finish second behind China’s Tian Jiaming. This was India’s fourth medal of the event in Doha.
