Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said that artificial intelligence, technology and innovation will take India to higher levels of productivity. Addressing the 58th Convocation of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade in New Delhi today, Mr Goyal reiterated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of self-reliance in technology. He underlined that the technological advancements can reduce the nation’s dependence on foreign technology. The Minister highlighted that India’s youth represent the nation’s ability to be bold and visionary to lead the country towards Viksit Bharat 2047.
