In Manipur, the Agrivision Agri Youth Parliament 2026 began today at the Central Agricultural University in Imphal. The three-day event was inaugurated by Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla. It focuses on innovation, sustainability and future opportunities in agriculture in the North East.
Addressing the gathering, the Governor said the platform brings together youth and stakeholders to shape the future of agriculture and highlighted the role of innovation in achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat.
He also underlined Manipur’s rich biodiversity and unique products like black rice, Kachai lemon and Tamenglong orange, stressing the need for scientific support and better market access.
The event witnessed participation from students, researchers and entrepreneurs. The Governor also released the Souvenir cum Abstract Book on the occasion.
