Additional directorate general (International Cooperation), Major General Akaash Johar, led the Indian side at the 3rd Army-to-Army Staff Talks with the Royal Cambodian Army in Phnom Penh. The Indian Army, in a social media post, said that talks focused on enhancing defence cooperation between the two armies. On the sidelines of the ongoing talks in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Major General Akaash Johar called on Lieutenant General Mao Sophan, Commander of the Royal Cambodian Army. Discussions during the meeting focused on enhancing joint military engagement, expanding training cooperation and further strengthening bilateral defence ties between India and Cambodia.
