Malayalam cinema’s legendary actor Mohanlal visited the Thiruvananthapuram Akashvani station. He arrived as part of the recording of a special radio program. During the session, Mr.Mohanlal shared his memories associated with Akashvani. He remarked that before the advent of television and the internet, Akashvani was the only source of entertainment for his generation.

He warmly recalled childhood programs like Balalokam and the beloved character Radio Ammavan, which made the radio an integral part of his early life. This special program featuring Mohanlal’s cherished radio memories in Malaylam will be broadcast on June 8, 2025.
