Senior AIADMK leader and MLA-elect A. Anbalagan was sworn in today as the Pro Tem Speaker of the 16th Legislative Assembly of Puducherry. The oath of office was administered by Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan at a function held at Lok Nivas this morning. Chief Minister N. Rangasamy, Ministers A. Namassivayam and Malladi Krishna Rao, Chief Secretary Sharath Chauhan, senior government officials and police officials attended the ceremony.
