The 4th National Digital Life Certificate (DLC) campaign for the Department of Telecommunications was launched today in New Delhi.
The campaign is intended to cover every district and over two thousand sub-divisional headquarters across the country. It will extend to 171 cities nationwide, providing comprehensive support for urban pensioners. The campaign will culminate at the end of this month.
The DLC campaign is a key initiative for digital empowerment of pensioners, aligned with Digital India. The campaign aims to emphasise the use of Aadhaar-based Face Authentication technology, enabling pensioners to submit their life certificates conveniently without requiring biometric devices. It aims to reach more than 22 thousand pensioners whose DLCs are set to expire this month.
