An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale was felt in Dhaka and different parts of Bangladesh at 07:05 am local time today, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

No reports of loss of property or life have been reported from anywhere in Bangladesh till now.
