In Jammu & Kashmir, three terrorists were killed in a fierce encounter in the upper reaches of Lidwas forests in Harwan area in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district yesterday. The area is on the outskirts of Srinagar city.

IGP Kashmir V K Birdi told the media yesterday that the identity of the killed terrorists is being ascertained.

Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma said on social media, complimented the Army’s Srinagar-based Chinar Corps for their swift action and precise execution in neutralising three terrorists in the ongoing operation Mahadev in Lidwas of Harwan area in Srinagar outskirts.
