In Pakistan, unidentified gunmen carried out an attack on the Frontier Constabulary Headquarters in Peshawar today. The assault triggered two quick explosions and led to a heavy gun battle inside the compound. According to the initial reports, three security personnel were killed, and the high-security zone has been placed under lockdown.
The Federal Constabulary, a paramilitary force under the Interior Ministry, is responsible for law and order across Pakistan. The attack began with a suicide blast at the main gate, followed by an IED explosion at a nearby motorcycle stand. Security officials said the outer perimeter has been secured, and all routes leading to Saddar and nearby areas have been sealed. Two attackers have been killed. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
