In Uttar Pradesh, three persons were killed and four injured as a truck hit an auto-rickshaw in Kushinagar. The injured were rushed to the Community Health Centre, Kaptanganj from where doctors referred them to the Medical College in Gorakhpur.

In another incident, four labourers died and 16 got injured when their van overturned after being hit by an unidentified vehicle in Shahjahanpur last night. The van, carrying labourers and their families, was en route to Haryana.
