In Chhattisgarh, twenty Maoists, including nine women, surrendered in Sukma district. A reward of thirty-three lakh rupees had been announced for them. These Maoists surrendered at the office of the Superintendent of Police, Sukma, yesterday, in the presence of Deputy Inspector General of CRPF Rajesh Kumar Pandey, Superintendent of Police Kiran Chavan, and other senior officials. Superintendent of Police Kiran Chavan said that the surrendered Maoists were allegedly involved in several incidents of violence.
