Two labourers were killed after a crane collapsed at the under-construction Dahisar-Bhayander Link Road project site in Maharashtra’s Thane district today. The incident took place when a gantry crane platform suddenly collapsed while workers were on it. According to Bhayander Police Station, a case of accidental death has been registered, and further investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the collapse and any possible negligence. The Dahisar-Bhayander Link Road project is an elevated coastal road connecting Dahisar (West) and Bhayander (West).
