In men’s cricket, South Africa in second innings were 18/1 in the first Test against India at Eden Gardens, when reports last came in.

 

India scored 189 in the first Test against South Africa at Eden Gardens.  Earlier, South Africa, opting to bat, were all out for 159 runs in their first innings. Indian bowlers dominated the innings with Jasprit Bumrah taking five wickets, while Mohammad Siraj and Kuldeep Yadav picked up two wickets each. The second Test will be played in Guwahati from November 22. India hold a strong home record against South Africa, winning 11 of 19 Tests.
