Minister of State for Tourism, Petroleum and Natural Gas Suresh Gopi today called upon the youth entering public service to contribute meaningfully to the progress and development of the country. He was addressing the Rozgar Mela organised at Kochi in Kerala this morning.
In Telangana, Union Minister of State for Home B. Sanjay Kumar distributed appointment letters to youth at Rozgar Mela held at the Central Board of indirect Taxes and Customs in Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, he said, the Narendra Modi government is committed to eradicating terrorism and is preparing to take strong measures that will shake Pakistan to its core. The minister said, the government is about to take tough decisions in this regard and called upon the entire nation to stand in support.
Congratulating around 700 candidates who received appointment letters at the event today, he said it is their responsibility to perform their duties with commitment and earn recognition. He asked them to stay updated with new technologies and changes in their work, and keep learning. Several youngsters who received appointment letters today from the MoS, Home expressed their happiness.
Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri has said, Pahalgam-like terror attacks are against the right to life and need to be condemned in the strongest possible terms. Mr Puri was speaking to the media after attending the 15th Rozgar Mela at Amity University in Mohali today.
The Union Minister said, the attack has been committed by a country which uses terrorism as an instrument of state policy. He assured that the it will receive a befitting reply.
The Minister distributed letters of appointment to 25 persons for their appointments in the government sectors. He assured the youth of the country that the government is doing everything to provide them with greater employment opportunities.
Union Minister of State for Agriculture, Ramnath Thakur handed over appointment letters to newly recruited candidates at the Rozgar Mela at Adhiveshan Bhawan auditorium in Patna, Bihar.
Around 250 candidates got appointment letters in Railway, SSB, AIIMS, Department of Posts, ESIC, FCI and other central government departments.
Mr. Thakur congratulated all new recruits and expressed his view that all those who are going to start new innings will contribute to Viksit Bharat. He exhorted new recruits to follow the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make India a developed country.
On the other hand, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi handed over appointment letters to new recruits at the Rozgar Mela organised at IIM, Bodhgaya.
In Tamil Nadu, Union Ministers Durgadas Uikey, Dr.Pemmasani Chandrasekhar and Dr. Jual Oram participated in the Rozgar Mela events at Chennai and Trichy.
Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs, Durgadas Uikey who spoke at the GST office in Chennai said, India is moving towards achieving self reliance at all fronts and it was necessary to realise the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to achieve Viksit Bharat.
He said, the youth of the Nation should become active participants of nation building and make use of the opportunities given to them. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India had achieved excellence in digital technology and is bound to become the third largest economy in the World.
Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Communications, Dr. Pemmasani Chandrasekhar said, the youth of the Country should think of changing their thinking from a job seeker to a job provider. He said that the youth of the Nation should dream and create a platform while working for the Government and fulfil their aspirations.
He said that India is on the cusp of greatness, with flourishing manufacturing industries scaling new heights and digital innovations are breaking barricades. He added that the youth of the Country should seize the moment and step forward with confidence and show the world what they are capable of.
In West Bengal Rojgar Mela was organised by the Income Tax department at the Bhasa Bhavan of National Library Kolkata. Union Minister of State for Education, Dr Sukanta Majumdar handed over appointment letters to 25 appointees. Youths got appointment at postal, income tax, home ministry, railway and other departments of central government.
Talking to media, Dr Majumdar said, since the Rojgar Mela began from 22nd October 2022, 8 lakhs youths have been appointed in various government organisations. He said, there is no report of corruption in this system.
Today 293 appointment letters handed over at the Bhasa Bhavan auditorium in Kolkata. On the other hand 170 appointment letters handed over at the Vivekananda Sabha Griha of Belur math of Howrah. MoS Ports Shipping and Waterways Shantanu Thakur was present at the Belur Math.
