11 years of Modi govt a beacon of hope, good governance, development: Culture Minister

Union Minister of Culture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has said that India has emerged as a beacon of hope under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Briefing the media today at Chennai on the completion of 11 years of the Modi Government, the minister said that India has been transformed from a state of hopelessness towards a bright future. He said that it has been 11 years of poverty alleviation and has invoked a paradigm shift in thought process and governance. The minister said that India has embarked on a new journey of development towards Amrit Kaal, focusing on service, good governance and welfare of the poor people. He said that the Government had implemented several schemes for the benefit of all ages with a holistic approach. Calling it a golden period, the Minister said that the Government took a tough stand on terrorism, and never waited to act against terror attacks and quoted the prompt action taken during Operation Sindoor and the surgical strike. The Minister recalled India’s commitment during COVID and said that not only did India produce two vaccines but also served as the pharmacy for the world.
