The Ministry of Home Affairs has informed that 108 naxalites surrendered in six districts of Chhattisgarh. The districts included Bijapur, Dantewada, Sukma, Bastar, Narayanpur, and Kanker. The Ministry further stated that a reward money of 3 crore 95 lakh rupees was declared on these naxalites. Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had reiterated that India would be free of Naxalism by the end of this month.
