Indian Foreign Service Officer Periasamy Kumaran has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to the United Kingdom. Ministry of External Affairs announced this today. Mr Kumaran, a 1992 batch Indian Foreign Service Officer, is currently serving as the Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs. He is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
