Delhi Police today celebrated its 78th Raising Day with a grand ceremonial parade at Kingsway camp parade ground in the presence of the Delhi Police family.ย

Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai took the salute as Chief Guest in the presence of Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora.

Speaking on the occasion, The Minister said that the Delhi Police is among the top police forces in the nation.ย 
ย 
The police played a significant role during the G20 summit and in managing the Covid pandemic.ย 
ย

He said that Delhi Police is establishing new benchmarks in law enforcement while combating crime.ย 
ย 
ย 
Mr Rai also acknowledged the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre- I4C initiative and said the police is actively addressing and solving cybercrime issues. He appreciated the efforts of Delhi Police in ensuring the safety of women, the elderly, and children.

The All-Women Delhi Police Band served as a notable highlight of the parade. Additionally, various contingents, including the Mounted Police, Dog Squad, North East Assistance Team-NEAT, Prakhar, Prakram, SWAT, Vajra, Vikrant, and the Traffic exhibition vehicle, were present.ย

The parade also featured vehicles equipped with audio and video capabilities, such as the Facial Recognition System vehicle, Nyayik Abhiraksha Vahan, and the Delhi Police Public Relations Office vehicle.ย

Following the march past, an engaging nukkad natak was performed addressing awareness about Cyber crime and Cyber safety.
