Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that country’s youth are the driving force behind building a strong and prosperous nation. In a social media post today, Mr Modi expressed his eagerness to engage with the nation’s youth at the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue.

The Prime Minister said, country’s youth power, driven by remarkable enthusiasm and unparalleled zeal, remains firmly committed to the nation’s growth and progress.

The Prime Minister will participate in the concluding session of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 on monday, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda in New Delhi. During the programme, the Prime Minister will interact with three thousand youth from across the country, including international delegates. The Prime Minister will also release the essay compilation for Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 at event, featuring selected essays by youth on country’s developmental goals and long-term nation-building vision.

Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue provides a platform for youth to engage with national leadership, following the Prime Minister’s call to involve one lakh young people in politics without political affiliations and help transform their ideas for a developed country.

The 2026 edition has seen participation from over 50 lakh youth at various levels. Building on the inaugural edition, it includes new initiatives like Design for Bharat, Tech for Viksit Bharat-Hack for a Social Cause, expanded thematic engagements, and international participation for the first time, further strengthening its impact.
