India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya today. The Met Department predicted thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds over Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and West Madhya Pradesh.

IMD said that hot and humid weather conditions are expected to prevail over Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha and Tamilnadu and Puducherry. According to the weather agency Heat wave conditions very likely in Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand and Bihar from tomorrow.
