Vice President C.P Radhakrishnan underscored the media’s vital role in highlighting the nation’s positive developments to inspire optimism among the youth. Attending the Manorama Newsmaker Awards 2024 ceremony in New Delhi on Sunday, He said that journalism serves to give a voice to the voiceless. He further highlighted the media’s crucial role in creating a drug-free society by spreading awareness and shaping responsible public discourse. On the occasion, Mr Radhakrishnan presented the Manorama Newsmaker Award to Union Minister of State for Tourism and Petroleum and Natural Gas Suresh Gopi. He also appreciated Mr Gopi for sustaining and succeeding in both the fields of cinema and politics.
