Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan Attends Centenary Celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi

Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan today attended the Centenary Celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba at the SSS Hill View Stadium in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh. Speaking on the occasion, the Vice President praised Sri Sathya Sai Baba as a global symbol of peace, love and selfless service. He noted that Baba’s messages ‘’Love All, Serve All” and “Help Ever, Hurt Never” continue to inspire people across the world. He said Sri Sathya Sai Baba devoted his life to uplifting humanity beyond barriers of caste, religion and nationality, and upheld the values of Truth, Righteousness, Peace, Love and Non-violence.
 
 
In today’s world filled with conflict and uncertainty, Baba’s call for harmony and sacrifice holds even greater significance, he added. The Vice President also recalled Baba’s crucial role in rejuvenating the Telugu Ganga canal, which helped ensure drinking water supply to Chennai. He appreciated the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust for its major contributions in the fields of healthcare, education and social welfare, including free values-based education, rural health services and various humanitarian initiatives.
 
 
The event was attended by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Tripura Governor N. Indra Sena Reddy, members of the Sri Sathya Sai Organisation and Central Trust, along with several other dignitaries.
