Ladakh is witnessing the “Celebration of the 2569th Vesak Buddha Purnima Week”. On this occasion, the Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, arrived at Leh to attend Kushok Bakula Rinpoche Memorial Lecture Series at CIBS Nagarjuna Hall.

Union Minister for Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju highlighted the contribution of Kushok Bakula Rinpoche and Dr BR Ambedkar in spreading Buddha’s message of peace love and harmony within the country and abroad specifically to the South East Asian countries. After inaugurating and attending the Memorial Lecture Series at CIBS, Union Minister for Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju visits Jewaytsal and seek blessings of Holy Tathagata Relics. Before departure back to Delhi the minister reviewed the construction work of New Chokhang Vihara at the centre of Leh market and expressed satisfaction over the ongoing work at the site.
