Uttarakhand Finance Minister Premchand Aggarwal will present the state’s annual budget in the Legislative Assembly this afternoon. This year, the budget size is expected to exceed one lakh crore rupees, with a primary focus on women, youth, the underprivileged, farmers, and infrastructure development.

Calling the budget a relief for the common people, especially the economically weaker sections, Mr Aggarwal stated that the government is introducing effective public welfare schemes. He also expressed hope that the budget presentation would take place in a peaceful environment.
