The Uttar Pradesh government is rapidly moving towards making Census-2027 more transparent, technology-driven, and accurate. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath formally launched the first phase of Census-2027 in the state on Thursday.
In continuation of this initiative, a self-enumeration session under Census-2027 was organised on Friday and many ministers of State government and MPs completed their self-enumeration and marked their participation in the process.
This includes Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brijesh Pathak, ministers of state Narendra Kashyap, Kapil Dev Agrawal and MP from Dumariyaganj Jagdambika Pal.
For the extensive publicity and outreach of Self-Enumeration 2027, the Yogi government will conduct awareness campaigns from the state level down to district and village levels. Instructions have also been issued to establish helpdesks and assistance centres for the convenience of citizens.
