Radha Ashtami festival is being celebrated with great enthusiasm in Barsana, Mathura today. Devotees from all over the world have gathered at the temples since morning.
”Radha Rani’s birth anniversary, Radha Ashtami, is being celebrated with devotion, faith, and enthusiasm in Barsana, Mathura today.. The temples are decorated with flowers and colourful lights. In the Brahma Muhurta, Radha Rani’s abhishek was performed with Panchamrit at 4 am. Millions of devotees from across the country and abroad have gathered to participate in it.
Devotees heading to Radha Rani’s palace sang badhai geet while sakhis danced to the tunes of aalah and badhai geet. A resident of Barsana Balakrishna Shastri said that the festival has been celebrated with great fervor since the birth anniversary celebrations began in the morning.
The administration has made special security arrangements for Radha Ashtami. Cabinet Minister Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary said that the district administration is committed to ensuring the convenience and safety of the large number of devotees who have come from across the country and abroad
