UP Prepares for Holika Dahan; CM Yogi Adityanath Calls for Peaceful, Eco-Friendly Celebrations

In Uttar Pradesh, preparations are in full swing for Holika Dahan today. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in his Holi greetings, urged citizens to celebrate the festival in peace and harmony, encouraging the use of local products for the celebrations. In his message, the Chief Minister also assured that security arrangements have been strengthened across all districts and urged people to cooperate with the administration.

Due to the lunar eclipse tomorrow, the celebration with colors will take place on Wednesday instead. The State’s temples will remain closed tomorrow as part of the eclipse-related observances. For Holika Pujan, people are actively participating in the cleaning and preparation of the Dahan area.

In Mathura, today marks the special Holi celebration with widows. Hundreds of people, especially foreign tourists, have gathered in the streets to witness the unique and vibrant celebrations. The local administration has put in place comprehensive security measures to ensure the safety and well being of the devotees.
